Cho Ray Hospital (BVCR) was established in 1900 with the name "Hospital Municipal de Cho lon", then the hospital was renamed "Hopital Indigene de Cochinchine" (1919), "Hopital Lalung Bonnaire" (1938) ), “Hospital 415” (1945). After that, the hospital was split into two clinics: Ham Nghi and Nam Viet. These two clinics merged in 1957 until today. In fact, people have still used the name Cho Ray to call the hospital since its establishment.
